Roots 2

$258.00

Over the past five years, I've collected bark from the crape myrtle tree and black walnuts from my yard to dye natural fibers like wool, silk, and cotton using plant-based dyes. I use iron compounds and tannin solutions as mordants. I also dyed eucalyptus leaves given to me by a friend in California.

Here is the Cashmere, Merino and Silk blend square with fringe shawl size 75” x 75” with Onion skin and Black Walnuts with Iron Mordants.

Cashmere 25%, Merino 50% and Silk 15% blend
